Welcome to rcsvit.org, the official digital hub of the Rotaract Club of SVIT at Sai Vidya Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. By accessing or using our platform, portals, and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
The Rotary Four-Way Test
All activities, digital communications, and conduct on this platform are governed by the Four-Way Test of the things we think, say, or do:
- Is it the TRUTH?
- Is it FAIR to all concerned?
- Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
- Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
1. Use of the Site & Portal
Access to certain features (such as the Member Portal, Volunteer Onboarding, and Event Attendance Scanner) requires registered credentials. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete student information during registration.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your session tokens and credentials.
- Notify club officers immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Refrain from reverse-engineering, probing, or abusing portal APIs.
2. Event Registration & Participation
When registering for community service projects, webinars, or campus festivals via rcsvit.org:
- Registrations are personal to the student and non-transferable without prior officer approval.
- Attendees must follow the college code of conduct and safety regulations during field activities.
- The club reserves the right to decline admission to individuals who violate the safety or ethical standards of Rotary International.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
The Rotaract emblem, Rotary International wheel, club logo designs, website codebase, and curated media are the intellectual property of the Rotaract Club of SVIT and Rotary International. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or publicly display club brand assets without written permission.
4. Media & Photography Consent
By participating in club events, seminars, or community service initiatives, you acknowledge that photographs, audio recordings, and video footage may be taken for club reports, district archives, newsletters, and social media showcase. If you wish to opt-out of media publishing, please notify the media lead before the commencement of the event.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The website and all materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. While we strive for 100% accuracy and maximum platform uptime, the Rotaract Club of SVIT does not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free content.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising in connection with the website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
